Day 1: Pretoria
Your Tour Guide will meet you upon your arrival at the  OR Tambo Johannesburg International Airport, from where you’ll drive to Pretoria, the Administrative Capital of South Africa and informally known as the “Jacaranda City”. During your Pretoria City Tour to visit the highlights of this city: the historical Voortrekker Monument, Church Square and the Union buildings, before you reach the Touraco Guesthouse were you can relax or enjoy an afternoon at the pool. (BB, Touraco Guesthouse, Pretoria)

Day 2: Polokwane & Maungubwe
Today we travel via Polokwane/Pietersburg to Musina/ Messina. Polokwane is the major centre and capital city of the Limpopo province and Musina is the most northerly town in South Afica. Drive on to Mapunguwe National Park (Mapungubwe means a place of the stone of wisdom). Out of the mist of the mysterious past rises the Mapungubwe National Park, an UNESCO World Herritage Site, giving tangible proof by way of the rich fossil deposits, Bushman rock art and gold artifacts, of ancient civilizations that once flourished here. Day 3: Mapungubwe National Park
One thousand years ago, Mapungubwe in Limpopo province was the centre of the largest kingdom in the subcontinent, where a highly sophisticated people traded gold and ivory with China, India and Egypt. Most of Africa’s big game still occurs in the area and the bird, reptile, invertebrate and plant diversity is rich. The park offers a breathtaking view of the Limpopo-Shashe Rivers confluence; a tree-top board-walk that allows visitors access to the Limpopo River and a bird hide at Manoutswa pan. Day 4: Kruger National Park
After breakfast depart for the Kruger National Park. Established in 1898, this National Park of over two million hectares is unrivalled in the diversity of its flora and fauna.

Day 5: Kruger National Park
Set off before breakfast in search of the “Big Five” It is possible to see all the classical African big game, including elephant, black and white rhino, hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and warthog. Large carnivores include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena. There are also many smaller mammals, over 500 different bird species and a great variety of reptiles and amphibians. Optional: enjoy an open vehicle safari, a safari style bush dinner or morning bush walk.

Day 6: Kruger National Park
Full day game viewing in the Kruger National Park. Possible optional activities include an evening/night game drive, a walking safari or a bush barbeque. (BB Kruger National Park) approx. 100 km

Day 7: Magoebaskloof
Today you will travel trough indigenous forests, tea and coffee estates and fruit farms to Magoebaskloof. This area is a magnificent and gorgeous revelation for any traveller. The road passes under the slopes of Wolkberg (Cloud Mountain) and the lovely cascades of the upper Letaba. It skirts the serene waters of the Ebenezer Dam and the forest covered gorges of the Magoesbaskloof, which hides the spectacular Debegeni Waterfall. Also worth visiting is the ancient cycad forest at Modjadji – home of the legendary Rain Queen (BB Magoebaskloof) approx. 200km

Day 8: Return to Pretoria
After breakfast depart for your return journey to Pretoria/Johannesburg. Approx. 335 km. (an optional overnight stay can be arranged in the Touraco Guesthouse.
