Itinerary : Kruger Park Safari in Luxury Lodge – 3 Days

3 Days – 2 nights

Day 1. – Pretoria/Johannesburg – Kruger Park – Private Safari Lodge
7:00 Departure from your hotel in Pretoria, or Johannesburg, or from the international Oliver Tambo airport in Johannesburg (we recommend that you overnight in the 4 star Touraco Guesthouse in Pretoria). The 5 hour drive takes us through the beautiful Mpumalanga Province to the well known Kruger National Park. Established in 1898, this Reserve of over two million hectares (20 000km²) is unrivalled in the diversity of its flora and fauna.
In the early afternoon we’ll arrive at our luxury Private Lodge, where we’ll be able to relax before we depart on our game drive in the Park.

Day 2. – Kruger Park – Private Safari Lodge
Early in the morning before breakfast we’ll depart on a three hour morning jeep game drive in search of the “Big Five”. Kruger offers all the classical African big game, including elephant, black and white rhino, hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and warthog. Large carnivores include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena. There are also many equally enticing species of smaller mammals.
After a big breakfast you’ll be able to relax over lunch before another afternoon/evening drive takes off. Alternatively you could also take part in another of the offered activities offered by the lodge.

Day 3. – Kruger Park – – Pretoria/Johannesburg
Between 5:00 & 6:00 we’ll leave on our last early game drive, hoping to witness a lion pack at last night’s zebra kill, or meet hyenas returning from their night encounters.
After a late breakfast we’ll have to pack and leave Kruger in time to be back in Johannesburg/ Pretoria, or the airport at approximately 16:00 (an optional overnight stay can be arranged in the Touraco Guesthouse).
